Maisie runs into the house and she hears that the
man wants to buy the hospital and the house because he wants to build
a new hotel there. Carl says to her father that he has four weeks for
thinking. Maisie feels very sad.

Maisie entra corriendo a su casa y escucha que
este hombre quiere comprar el hospital y la casa porque desea
construir un nuevo hotel allí. Carl le dice a su padre que tiene
cuatro días para pensarlo. Maisie se siente muy triste.

She thinks the name “Ben” for the dolphin. The
next day she goes to see Ben and she finds that the dolphin isn’t
eating; so she gives him a fish and the dolphin eats it.

Al día siguiente va a ver a Ben y se da cuenta de que el delfín no está
comiendo; entonces le da un pescado y el delfín se lo come. |
Three weeks later Ben is strong again, and her
grandfather says that Ben has to return to the sea and Maisie feels
very sad. The next day they take Ben out to sea. After that, Maisie
sees that Ben has got a key in his mouth. Grandad stops the "Warm
Wind" and Ben is jumping in the water.

Tres semanas después Ben está nuevamente fuerte y
su abuelo dice que Ben tiene que regresar al mar y Maisie se siente muy
triste. Al día siguiente lo llevan a Ben al mar abierto. Luego, Maisie observa

He wants Maisie to follow him, so Maisie goes with
him and she sees a piece of wood with the letters "M.N.A” on it, but
Ben doesn’t stop.

The dolphin takes her to a box. It has the word
“Montoya” on the top, so Maisie takes the keys from the dolphin’s
mouth and she opens the box. There are lots of gold coins.

El delfín la lleva a una caja. Tiene escrita la
palabra “Montoya” en la tapa. Entonces Maisie toma la llave de la boca
del delfín y abre la caja. Hay montones de monedas de oro.

The next day the newpapers say that a Freeport girl
finds Spanish gold. Her father says to Carl that they don’t sell the
house or the hospital. With the money from the Montoya coins, they
build a new hospital. They are very happy and Ben too.

diarios informan que una chica de Freeport encuentra oro español. Su
padre le dice a Carl que no van a venderle la casa ni el hospital. Con
el dinero de las monedas de Montoya construyen un nuevo hospital. Todos
están muy contentos y Ben también. |
