Grandma went into the shop with her umbrella. The two
men saw her and laughed.
"Look at this old dear," they said. Then Grandma did a karate chop on
one man. He fell to the floor. She hit the second man with her umbrella
and he fell to the floor too. After three minutes a police car arrived.
It took the two men away to prison. |

La abuela entró al negocio con su paraguas. Los dos
hombres la vieron y se echaron a reir. "Miren a esta amorosa vieja",
dijeron. Entonces la abuela le aplicó un golpe de karate a uno de los
hombres. Cayó al piso. Golpéo al segundo hombre con su paraguas y cayó
al piso también. Tres minutos después llegó un patrullero. Se llevó

"Thanks, Grandma," said the police officer. |

Barry and Grandma went home. At six o' clock they
watched the news on television. The news was terrible. A big building in
London was on fire. They saw people screaming and shouting, "Help! Save
us!" |

Barry y la abuela se fueron a su casa. A las seis de
la tarde vieron el noticiero por televisión. La noticia era espantosa.
Un enorme edificio de Londres se estaba incendiando. Vieron como la
gente daba alaridos y gritaba, "¡Socorro! ¡Sálvennos!". |

"Come on Barry!" said Grandma. They went into the
garden and Grandma opened her umbrella. She took Barry's hand and they
flew straight up into the air. They were flying! |

"¡Vamos Barry!", dijo la abuela. Los dos salieron al
jardín y la abuela abrió el paraguas. Lo sujetó a Barry por su mano y se

They flew a long way very fast. They flew past an
aeroplane and Grandma waved to the pilot. He was very surprised! |

They arrived in London at the burning building. It
was very tall and people were at the windows.
"Help, help!" they shouted.
Grandma left Barry and flew up to the top of the building with her
umbrella. One by one she saved all the people. |

Llegaron a Londres donde estaba el edificio en
llamas. Era muy elevado y la gente se encontraba en las ventanas.
"¡Auxilio, auxilio!", gritaban.

The fire fighters said, "Thank you Grandma," and
Grandma smiled.
"Come on Barry!" she said. "Let's go home for tea." |

On Monday morning Grandma got a letter from the Queen.
It said 'Thank you, Grandma,' and sent a medal. |

At school everybody looked at Barry.
"Look that's Barry Robinson – his grandma can do anything!" |

But Barry just smiled. |
